The functions of the are:-

To oversee the implementation and successful operation of policy and functions of NEMA;

To review the policy and strategic plan of NEMA;

To provide guidance to the Executive Director and Staff;

To approve annual budgets and plans of NENA;

To monitor and evaluate the performance of NEMA against budgets and plans

To establish and approve rules and procedures for appointment,discipline,termination and terms and conditions of service of the staff,administrative matters and financial matters for NEMA

Any other duties assigned by NEA CAP 153
